Hello,
I am interested in the DVD’s on Secrets of Tai Chi Iron Body, but I would like to know if the 2 DVD’s include forms with the training? And other training exercises that can be done that will also benefit your health much like Tai Chi does? Also are there any forms included on the DVD’s that can be used for combat training? I lift weights but also train in the martial arts and need some form of home training when I can’t make it to the gym to train? Let me know? Have a very nice day!

Hi Steve,
Excellent questions.

All of the exercises on the Tai Chi Iron Body DVDs are very healthy for you and the body qualities you develop from this training will add a lot of power to the techniques and movement you already know. Everything on the DVD can be trained at home by yourself. You do not need a training partner for this material.

There are no complex forms or movements to learn on these dvds. However once you understand the exercises and principles you can practice them with any Tai Chi set you already have.

If you want a Tai Chi set and don’t have one then I recommend starting with our Big 8 Move Set although it is not necessary for the Iron Body training.

This method is a Tai Chi method and it is very internal so it will be different from working out at the gym.

Just finished viewing the Tactical Pen DVD. Lot of good stuff. Also timely. Seems like On Hand or Improvised Weapons seem to be a current topic. Must be due to tougher restraints on weapon possesion. I am a firm believer in teaching about improvised weapons – have devoted some time to the subject
when I teach my self defense classes. Currently researching rope techniques- any suggestions.Love your DVD’s.

I’m Glad you like the DVDs. We have a followup to the pen dvd that will be coming out soon, and on May 27th we are holding a small workshop where we will film a DVD on using a towel, shirt, magazine, newspaper & jacket for self defense.

When you are learning the material (first 7-15 days) you will want to spend about 10 – 20 min each day. As you become familiar with the principles taught on the dvd you will be able to incorporate them into your daily life.

After a little while you will be able to practice this method and gain all its benefits without having to set aside any additional practice time.

I learned this method when we filmed the dvd in March and I currently spend about 2min each morning doing these exercises.
