Enjoyed talking with you and Ben over the phone today. I just want to let everyone know who is attending this Combat Tai Chi workshop that your lucky to be studying with a Sifu of this caliber. I have been studying with him long distance and with videos for several months. Even though I have many years of martial experience Sifu Richard has certainly filled in many blanks that Chinese teachers would not show me. Another great thing about this guy is that he is accessible over the phone most of the time. He is also a busy person in work and family life. Unlike some teachers who will sell you a video then suddenly become extinct when you try to call them for a question or some feedback. This guy will talk with you. People who are getting to have contact with this teacher regularly already know that they are "lucky folk." When I am able to get to Tennessee and study with him I'll be sure to practice "falling down" before I get there. (just kidding). Sorry I can’t make this workshop Sifu.
